Deploy and support ERP (enterprise requirements planning) solutions at new and existing client sites. Lead clients in proper use of software to effectively manage their business's financials.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Primary focus is in the accounting and distribution functions of these systems that are mission critical to our clients. These functions range from transactional level input to processing to financial reporting.
Work closely with the implementation team, initially in a support capacity with the goal of establishing lead relations.
Training, support, and upgrades for existing ERP clients.
On-site work, fielding support calls/emails, and remote access problem resolution. This pertains to application issues and use of the software in client environments for accounting (GL, AR, AP), distribution (items, purchasing, sales orders), and manufacturing.
Attend classes, take tests, and achieve certifications in Accounting, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
Work closely with Acuity team to review and scope specific customer needs in all areas of ERP and technology and participate in recommending solutions.
Measured by billable goals, high client satisfaction, and constant expansion of work at existing client base.
General Ledger/ Accounting – Understanding of C of A’s and financial statements, including initial setup and on-going responsibility to produce.
Distribution – Understanding of inventory and maintaining a perpetual one, including demand (sales orders) and replenishments (purchase orders, work orders).
Consulting – Ability to work as an outside consultant with an understanding of how to manage a client relationship. This includes delivering both high-quality services and meeting company business objectives.
Technology – Ability to understand the underlying database technology that drives ERP solutions and extraction of database information to meet customer needs.
Experience in ERP consulting with a Value Added Reseller, or accounting firm, is highly desirable.
BS or BA with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized company environment.
Must be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of a growing consulting practice, including the ability and willingness to learn new technology and ERP software products to deliver to clients.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of business disciplines as well as a wide range of personality types.
Experience with MS Access and/or reporting tools (Crystal) is a plus.
